Q:
Can Thrill of the Hunt play the banished unit to base, or react during an opponent's turn?
A:
Thrill of the Hunt does not allow the player to play the banished unit to base (only to battlefields). However, Thrill of the Hunt can be used to replay Brynhir in reaction to triggers on the opponent's turn, including Temporary / Battlefield triggers in the beginning phase, to prevent cards from being played for the rest of their turn. If it’s done in reaction to an Aurora trigger, for example, the unit from Aurora will remain in banishment, unable to be played, but any item already on the chain before Brynhir’s trigger resolves will resolve.
